Swiping Pics
It's easy to copy pictures from your browser screen onto your
hard disk. You can do so right here on the HTML Publishing Bible
CD-ROM, and on the real Internet as well. The steps are slightly
different for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator:
- In your web browser, right-click the picture you want.
- If you're using Internet Explorer choose Save Picture
As. If you're using Netscape Navigator choose Save this
Image as.
- In the Save As dialog box, go to the folder where you store
your web pages (e.g. My Web Site.)
- In the File name box type in a filename that will be
easy to remember later (or just use the existing .gif or .jpg
file name) and choose OK.
Putting a Picture in your Page
To put a picture in your page:
- Open or create, using Word IA, the page that you want to put
the picture into.
- Click at about where you want to place the picture.
- Click the Picture button in Word IA's toolbar and follow the
instructions on the screen.
Use you browser's Back button to go back!
